Join DVRA club members in an amateur radio transmitter hunt on May 18 in Mercer County

The Delaware Valley Radio Association will host an amateur radio transmitter hunt in Mercer County, New Jersey on Saturday May 18, 2019 from 8:45am to 11:00am.

DVRA seeks volunteer amateur radio operators for Apr 28 March of Dimes event

The Delaware Valley Radio Association is proud to support the March of Dimes / March for Babies event on Sunday April 28, 2019 from 9:00am – 11:00am at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, New Jersey.

Our volunteer operators will spend approximately two hours and be stationed along the 7 mile route within the park to provide communications support.

Antenna Committee to hold first construction event, April 13th

The DVRA has a newly formed Antenna Committee with a focus on the
design, construction and installation of amateur radio antennas for club
members.  The two goals of the antenna committee
are to hold antenna construction events and to assist club members with antenna
projects:

1)   Hold one (or more) antenna construction events at club station

a.       Construct and test antennas for Field Day

b.      Construct and test antennas for members

W2ZQ goes down under!

Each year in late December, the Delaware Valley Radio Association (callsign W2ZQ) operates two special event stations W2T and W2P to commemorate two historic, local battles from 1776 and 1777 considered a turning point in the US Revolutionary War: The Battle of Trenton and The Battle of Princeton.
