The New Jersey QSO Party is a special event for DVRA and this year will be even more intense. As defending 2025 Champions 🏆, the club will put forward an extra effort to defend our title.
The NJ QSO Party will be held on Saturday 9/12 from 10am to 10pm. There are open slots to operate from the W2ZQ shack. Or, you can operate from a NJ-based home station.

In general, the use of N1MM logging software and Cabrillo files are strongly encouraged. The club name is Delaware Valley Radio Association (not DVRA).
The object of the NJ QSO Party is to work as many NJ Counties, States and Canadian Provinces as possible, each being a multiplier.
The QP exchanges are as follows:
- home stations send 59/9 (your County abbreviation)
- W2ZQ sends 59 Mercer or 599 MERC.
- You will receive a signal report plus a NJ County/State or Province.
In this contest we are “Hunting” so find an open frequency and keep it by calling CQ Contest. You should also spot yourself by using a Cluster app on your phone or computer and in the Comments section put “NJ QP”.
If you would like an easy way to experience contesting, the NJ QP is the perfect opportunity to dip your toe into the water.
