This seminar will review antenna and feedline basics and give examples of proven and simple designs for getting on the air – this includes HF, VHF and HF antennas. Following the presentation, we will erect and test a portable antenna setup. The antenna is a 40m dipole, fed with 300 ohm ladder line, and suspended on a portable pole. The setup can be used with an antenna tuner on all bands, 10 thru 40 meters.
