160m CW contest 12/5 to 12/7
DVRA will participate in the ARRL 160m CW contest next week, starting Friday December 5th at 5:00 pm, and wrapping up on Sunday December 7th at 5 am. This is the perfect event for night owls, as 160m really comes alive once the sun goes down. We had a blast last year and put on a good showing!

Go digital! Seminar at the shack 12/6
An HF Digital Mode seminar will be held at the W2ZQ station on Saturday December 6th at 10AM.
The program will present an overview of popular Digital Modes. This will be followed by a demonstration on setting up a radio and computer with the software.

W2ZQ HF Station – Equipment Training Session – Nov. 8th, 10am
On Saturday, November 8th, at 10am we will hold an additional training session for the W2ZQ HF Station Equipment.
Annual Fall Cleaning – Saturday, November 1st
The DVRA will hold its annual Fall clean up event at the DVRA Shack on November 1st
starting at 9am. Besides doing a sweep of the lot to remove any trash, we hope to clear
some brush and paint the rear of the shack building if weather conditions permit.
