On Wednesday, January 9th 2019, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting will feature a presentation on “My experiences operating an amateur radio station from far off locations around the world” by Mike Gottfried, W2GEZ. Mike will discuss how signals propagate from remote locations and what the bands and regulations are like in the various regions (e.g., East and SE Asia, South America, North Canada, and Europe).
First licensed in 1972 as WN2GEZ, then from 1973 to 2006 as WA2GEZ, and currently W2GEZ from 2006. Mike holds a US Advanced class license and a Canadian call of VE8GEZ (Zone 1).
Open to both members and non-members. Feel free to join for all or part of the meeting.
