Special guest foxes Bill, W2WZ and Rich, KD2CQ set up an excellent Mobile Fox Hunt Saturday, August 5th, 2023.

Sunny, pleasant weather greeted the seven participants gathered at Chapin School.  At 9:00 they were on their way touring the highways and byways of Mercer County.  After arriving at the well-hidden Village Park in Lawrenceville, they followed up the drive by searching for three foxes lurking in the woods along the hiking paths.

The teams and results were as follows:

Chris / RichardKD2WAR / KG2PU4.33
GlenNK1N5.02

Chris / MeganWA2SEM9.34

Siri says the theoretical shortest distance was 3.2 miles.

Congratulations, Chris, KD2WAR and Richard, KG2PU on an outstanding bit of foxhunting.

Many thanks to all who came out in support the DVRA Fox Hunting Program. The next DVRA IARU-Style Fox Hunt is scheduled for October 7th, 2023 in Rosedale Park.
