The Delaware Valley Radio Association hosted the 4th annual QRP operating day on the grounds of the club station, W2ZQ on April 22nd from 10am to 2pm. This event was opened to all local amateurs. As in the past, we also held a Swap Fest. ADDITIONALLY, we included Mobile operating to be part of this year’s event.
The DVRA had the best attended event since we started the QRP event and Swap Fest three years ago. Seven stations were set up and operated. About an equal number setup for the Swap Fest and sold ham gear. Over 20 people attended the event, including many first time visitors to W2ZQ who also had a chance to get a tour of the club station.
Directions: The W2ZQ shack is adjacent to the south east corner of Exit 75 of I-295 (Route 579, West Trenton). Turn into the short road marked NJ Dept of Transportation. Enter 798 Bear Tavern Road, Ewing NJ into your GPS.
