DVRA conducted a Fox Hunt Training / Antenna Workshop / Mini-Fox Hunt session the morning of Saturday, March 25th. Fifteen were in attendance for NK1N’s Introduction to Fox Hunting aka Amateur Radio Direction Finding.
Following the presentation, many participants started assembling their Three-Element Tape Measure Yagi Antennas while others, who came with fox hunting equipment, started searching for the three foxes (hidden transmitters) on the DVRA grounds. The rain that morning did not dampen the spirits of the participants as all had the opportunity to test their equipment and wits against our sly Fox Hunt Master.
