2025 ARRL INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL CONTEST

The 2025 ARRL International Digital Contest is coming up on the weekend of June 7-8, from 2 PM local time on Saturday through 8 PM Sunday.  We will be operating once again from W2ZQ.  We placed 2nd place in the US and 7th place worldwide in 2024 and are looking to move up in the rankings this year!

2025 Annual ARRL Field Day – June 28 – 29th

The DVRA will once again participate in the annual ARRL Field day. The ARRL Field Day is the single most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada.

On the fourth full weekend in June, thousands of radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations.

CW Class to start on May 20th, 2025

Registration for this year’s CW class is now open to all DVRA club members. There is no fee for this class and is one of the many benefits of being or becoming a DVRA club member. 

Class will begin Tuesday May 20th at 7:00 PM via the Zoom conference application. Please register early as slots may become unavailable.

The class is geared towards beginners however all levels are invited!

Special Event Station to commemorate 1937 Hindenburg Disaster

Members of the DVRA, the Delaware Valley Radio Association, operated a Special Event Station to mark the 87th anniversary of the crash of the German airship Hindenburg, May 6, 1937 at Lakehurst, N.J.

ANTENNA WORKSHOP – MAY 10th, 2025

An antenna workshop will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 10am at the W2ZQ station. We will discuss the operation and design of a 40 meter “half square” and then we will construct and test the antenna.
