DVRA will hold an antenna/feedline seminar and antenna demonstration on Saturday July 25th at 10 am at the club shack.
This seminar will review antenna and feedline basics. Examples of simple and proven designs for getting on the air will be discussed – this includes HF, VHF and UHF antennas
Following the presentation, we will erect and test a portable antenna – a 40m dipole, fed with 300 ohm ladder line. The antenna will be mounted on a telescoping pole and supported by a drive-on mount. Use of a balun and tuner will allow operation on 10 thru 40 meters.
