3D Printing and Amateur Radio

On Wednesday, January 13th 2021, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting HELD VIA VIRTUAL WEB CONFERENCE will feature a presentation titled “3D Printing and Amateur Radio” by Mark Steele, KD2NOM

Mark will talk with the DRVA members about his experiences with 3D printing and how this rapidly growing technology is being used by the ham radio community. 3D printing enables hams to desktop design and print virtually any object they might need around the shack. If you are missing an obsolete knob on the classic radio, no worries – just print a replacement!

Mark is the current Director of Publicity and the Silent Key Manager for Ten-Ten International and an avid ham. In his day job, Mark is CIO for a local software development company. Mark also operates a home-based 3D printing company and sells items on Etsy.

Open to the public. Feel free to join for all or part of the meeting.

  • Combined Directors/Business Meeting from 7:00 to 7:30 PM
  • Featured presentation at 7:30 PM

Members will receive an email with instructions on how to join the Zoom teleconference by January 11th. Members of the public are invited to request conference credentials by sending a message to webmaster@w2zq.com
