New Ham Net Scheduling Change

Please note this important schedule change for the New Ham Net.

Beginning Sept. 3, 2025, the New Ham Net will take place on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of each Month. Join Us!

To avoid conflicts with other club activities and to space our regularly scheduled DVRA events out more evenly, we are changing the dates for the DVRA NEW HAM NET (previously scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month), to take place beginning September 3rd on the First Wednesday of each month.

The next New Ham Net will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, September 3rd.
Note that the start time of 7pm and the venue (the DVRA 442.650 MHz repeater, PL Tone 131.8), stays the same as before. This new date each month should be easy to remember: first Wednesday of the month is the New Ham Net, with the monthly club meeting taking place as always on the Second Wednesday of the month.

See you on the 442.650 MHz repeater on September 3rd at 7PM.
Both “New Hams” and veterans of this hobby are encouraged to attend!

The topic of the Net will be “Improving reception and getting better signal-to-noise results using multiple antennas, with or without multiple receivers”.
