Special guest foxes Chris, WA2SEM and his daughter Megan set up a terrific IARU-Style (on foot) Fox Hunt Saturday, June 3rd, 2023.
The teams were as follows:
- Team NFA – Glen NK1N, Fran N2FXO and Curt KE2ALU
- Team D&D – Starla KS2ROC, William K2DND, Kevin and Cathy Sacristan
Four of the seven participants were first-time fox hunters, so we dispensed with the “competition” aspect and used the opportunity to introduce folks to what fox hunting was all about. All six foxes were found along with three bonus foxes camouflaged near the starting area.
The next DVRA Mobile Fox Hunt is scheduled for August 5th, 2023
