EME Training: July 26, 2025

Do  you want to operate the W2ZQ Club EME station but you don’t know how or you are not confident?  Here is your chance.

There will be an EME training session on July 26, 2025 at 10:00 am., at the club shack.



Results of the DVRA Member Survey

The DVRA recently conducted a member survey. This survey will help the DVRA guide the activities conducted by the club as well as improving the DRVA overall.

EchoLink and VoIP Linking for Amateur RadioGeneral: Membership Meeting – July 9th

On Wednesday, July 9th 2025, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting featured a presentation titled “EchoLink and VoIP Linking for Amateur RadioGeneral” by Jonathan Taylor, K1RFD.

This was an introduction to the EchoLink system and its software, as well as an overview of other popular VoIP systems currently in use.

Using World-Wide Aeronautical Weather and HF Air Traffic Control for DXing

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 7:00PM, the Delaware Valley Radio Association’s monthly membership meeting featured a presentation by Dave Doler K3DFD titled “Using World-Wide Aeronautical Weather and HF Air Traffic Control for DXing”.

This presentation talks about how Hams can take advantage of the world-wide network of always-on aeronautical VOLMET HF weather broadcast stations to help determine band conditions.

DVRA designated an ARRL Special Service Club

The ARRL has designated the Delaware Valley Radio Association as an ARRL Special Service
Club, thanks to the efforts of ARRL Southern New Jersey Assistant Section Manager Gary Wilson
K2GW and with support from Section Manager Ron Fish KX1W.

The ARRL describes Special Service Clubs as amateur radio clubs that go above and beyond.
