Special Event Station to commemorate 1937 Hindenburg Disaster

Members of the DVRA, the Delaware Valley Radio Association, operated a Special Event Station to mark the 87th anniversary of the crash of the German airship Hindenburg, May 6, 1937 at Lakehurst, N.J.

6th Annual QRP Operating Day – April 27th 10-2p

The Delaware Valley Radio Association will be hosting the 6th annual QRP operating day on the grounds of the club station, W2ZQ on Saturday, April 26th Sunday, April 27th from 10am to 2pm.

Note that due to forecasted weather conditions, this event which was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 26th, will be held on Sunday, April 27th instead.



Using World-Wide Aeronautical Weather and HF Air Traffic Control for DXing

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 7:00PM, the Delaware Valley Radio Association’s monthly membership meeting featured a presentation by Dave Doler K3DFD titled “Using World-Wide Aeronautical Weather and HF Air Traffic Control for DXing”.

Portable Electric Generator Workshop

We will be hosting a workshop on March 29th at 10am at the W2ZQ shack. The focus will be on the proper operation, care and maintenance of a portable electric generator.

Other topics will include whole house generators, powering your home appliances during power outages, and providing power for Amateur Radio operating events such as Field Day.
