New Ham Net on 8/5: Getting started with CW

If you think Morse code might be right for you, but don’t know where to start, join DVRA’s New Ham Net on 8/5 at 7pm. Cliff WA2TMF will give you the basics on what makes CW so cool and what you’ll need to make your first CW QSO.

2: Choosing a Morse Code Key

3: How to get started learning.

The New Ham Net is held the first Wednesday of each month on the DVRA repeater, W2ZQ: 

  • output frequency: 442.650 MHz 
  • input frequency +5 MHz (447.650) 
  • PL tone: 131.8 Hz.
