Join DVRA for a “Rybakov” antenna workshop on Saturday, May 30th at 10am at the W2ZQ station. We will discuss the operation and design of a “Rybakov” vertical, after which we will construct and test the antenna.
The Rybakov is a compact and versatile multiband vertical covering 10 through 40 meters. The antenna utilizes a 25 foot vertical element, a 4:1 unun, an antenna tuner and radial field at the base of the antenna. The antenna is ideal for portable (POTA/SOTA) and stealth setups, and offers low-angle radiation for DX contacts.
