The December 10th 2025 DVRA membership meeting will be a Holiday Potluck dinner and will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. For those not familiar with potluck dinners, everyone attending is asked to bring some food that will be shared with everyone attending. More on what to bring in a moment.
Since the meeting includes dinner, we will be starting a bit earlier. Here’s a schedule of the evening’s events:
- Set-up, bring food 6- 6:30PM
- Serve food, 6:30PM
- Election of 2026 officers 7PM
- 2025 DVRA year in review, Martin, W3PR – 7:05PM
- Socializing, cleanup done by 9PM
As for what to bring, you can bring an appetizer, main dish, side dish, and/or dessert, your choice. We have put together a signup sheet so that we know what everyone is bringing and to avoid having everyone bring the same thing (like 10 pots of baked beans). Plan on bringing enough food for at least 6 people. Click here to access the sign-up sheet. So that we have a variety of things to eat, should you see that a food category is full, please try to bring something in another category. Should participation dictate, we can expand the sign-up sheet.
When bringing food on December 10th:
- Please bring any serving utensils needed for the food you bring.
- We will not have the ability to heat/cook food so please do any heating prior to coming
- Electricity is available in the room should you need it for say a crockpot.
The DVRA will be supplying chicken parmesan & penne with tomato sauce (already on the sign-up sheet). The club will also be supplying the basics: plates, cups, napkins, forks/spoons/knives, etc. as well as a selection of beverages.
Lastly, should anyone have any specific dietary needs that might not be covered, please email president@w2zq.com. We would like to be able to accommodate everyone at the potluck dinner.
