Rain was predicted for our first Sunday morning Fox Hunt but if you opted out due to the threatening weather, I’m sorry, you didn’t learn from last October’s event and … you missed another good one.
Two hunters gathered at Veterans Park in Hamilton to take part in DVRA’s first IARU-Style fox hunt of the 2024 season. The predicted rain was not among them. It took our hunters two and a half hours find the five foxes hidden in the expansive woods around Veterans Lake.
Many thanks to Chris, WA2SEM and Megan for setting up an excellent fox hunting course and to fox hunting rookie, Ben, KC3VVA for defying the weather by coming out to support the DVRA Fox Hunt Program.
