On Wednesday, May 14th 2025, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting will feature a presentation titled “How to Work the FM Satellites with your HT” by Clint Bradford, K6LCS.
Clint Bradford, K6LCS will reprise his 2021 presentation to the DVRA with the latest 2025 updates and news about working the FM Satellites with your HT.
Clint Bradford, an AMSAT Ambassador says, “Getting started with ham satellites is easier than you may think”! You may already have everything you need to access FM voice satellites, monitor the ISS, and more.” Clint is an awesome advocate for amateur satellite activity and runs the very popular www.work-sat.com website.
Clint Bradford has been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1994, and worked in the commercial side of the radio industry. He has given his “How to Work the Amateur Satellites with your HT” presentation more than 100 times over the past few years to clubs and hamfests across the US and Canada via EchoLink, Skype and Zoom conferences.
There will be a Pizza/Social Hour prior to the meeting at 6PM. Folks are asked to bring their own (soft) beverage.There is no charge for the pizza, but we do ask folks to give what they wish to help cover the cost.
In person monthly meetings are held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W Upper Ferry Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08628 (Driving Directions). We encourage you to attend the meetings in-person, but this meeting will also be hosted on Zoom for those who cannot. Members will receive an email with instructions on how to join the Zoom teleconference. Members of the public are invited to request conference credentials by sending a message to webmaster@w2zq.com.
