On Wednesday, January 12th 2022, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting HELD VIA VIRTUAL WEB CONFERENCE will feature a presentation titled “ An Intro to RTL-SDR ” by Paul Andrews – W2HRO.
Since its discovery, RTL-SDR has become extremely popular with hams wanting to access radio spectrum from 500 KHz to 1700 MHz. Just a few years ago, this sort of SDR capability would have cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars. The RTL-SDR is also sometimes referred to as RTL2832U, DVB-T SDR, DVB-T dongle, RTL dongle, or the “cheap software defined radio”.
Whatever you call it, it is an incredibly versatile device and very handy to have around the shack. Don’t miss this fascinating presentation!
