The DVRA offers it’s members a fully equipped climate controlled radio shack. The shack is located on one of the highest points in Central New Jersey & consists of:

  • HF stations (160 – 10m +6m, all modes)
  • 440 all mode
  • 2 Meter all mode
  • Packet BBS
  • 2 repeaters (2 meter and 70 centimeter)
  • High Speed Wi-Fi Internet
  • Multiple Operating Stations
  • Multiple Towers
  • Multiple Antennas w/station patch panel
  • TV & DVD player
  • Refrigerator
  • Gas Grills
  • Park-like setting
  • Ample parking

The Shack is used for a variety of events through out the year, including but not limited to: Director’s Meetings, Contests, Training Sessions, Jamboree on the Air and Field Day. There are also “Open Houses” at the shack periodically as well as work parties to maintain the equipment, building, & grounds.
